Margrethe Hillesland


Margrethe works as general manager and organizational developer.

She started the consulting company HiPOTENTIAL in 2018 after having previously worked for many years in organizational development and HR. She has over 20 years of experience in the field.


Consultant experience

Margrethe has worked for 18 years as a consultant, and has provided services to both large and small companies, public, private and interest organizations. The services have been within: Recruitment, Teambuilding, Leadership Development, Individual Coaching, Talent Management, Assessment Center, Validation Studies, Tests and Methods. For many years, she was responsible and co-responsible in Assessio Norge for the globally recognized tests MBTI, 16pf and the Hogans tests HPI, HDS and MVPI. She has prepared and facilitated countless team building workshops, leadership development courses, test certification courses, breakfast seminars and customized workshops for clients.


Previous experience from the private and public sectors in Norway and internationally

Margrethe has international experience, including from working in shipping at Wilh. Wilhelmsen, where she worked with work environment surveys and seminars, value implementation,

leadership development and coaching. She was responsible for 360-evaluation of the company's leaders, and prepared and conducted work environment surveys globally. Margrethe has worked in the public sector as an HR consultant at the Norwegian School of Sports and Recreation and with organizational development at the San Diego Environmental Service Department, USA.


Expert in psychological instruments and scientific methods

Margrethe is an expert in the use of personality, ability and screening tests, 360 surveys and work environment surveys. She is certified in nearly twenty different psychometric instruments for the workplace, and can tailor online surveys to suit your needs. For many years, she has certified and taught others in the use of a number of psychometric tests and instruments used in recruitment and development, as well as teaching the use of good, scientific recruitment methods and in topics such as the "difficult conversation".


Education
Margrethe holds an MA in Organizational and Occupational Psychology and an MS in Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in the USA, and a bachelor's / Cand. mag from the University of Oslo and the University of Bergen. She has a number of relevant courses and certifications within the industry, both domestically and internationally.

Marie Wigenstad Myhre


Marie works at HiPOTENTIAL as an Associate Sr. Consultant.

She works on varied tasks within the selection and development of leaders and teams.


Consultant experience

Marie has 17 years of experience working within organizational development, both from consulting companies such as Assessio, Specifique and Assessit as well as from her own consulting business. She works in areas such as Recruitment, Assessment Center, Teambuilding, Leadership Development, Individual Coaching, Career Guidance

and Talent Management. Marie has a special interest in and knowledge of, Motivation, health and performance linked to working life.


Previous experience from the private and public sectors in Norway and internationally

Marie has extensive consulting experience from both the public and private sectors in Norway, as well as experience from international assignments for various private companies. Within the public sector, her experience ranges from educational institutions to health institutions, agencies, directorates and ministries.

In the private sector, she has worked in several different industries; internationally with, among others, Equinor, NCC and Salomon. The assignments cover areas such as Recruitment, Assessment Center, Talent Development, Team Development, Leadership Development, Culture Development, and training of internal HR resources at clients.


Psychological instruments and scientific methods

Marie has extensive experience in the use of personality, aptitude and screening tests. She is certified in a dozen recognized psychometric instruments for the workplace, such as Hogan Assessment systems (HPI, HDS and MVPI), Raven's matrices, NEO-PI, OPQ, Cattell 16PF, MBTI and Effect - analysis tools for management groups. She has used these tools in assignments with clients for many years and has also given courses in several of the tools..


Education

Marie holds an MSc in Sports Psychology from the Norwegian School of Sports and Recreation, as well as postgraduate studies in statistics from the University of Oslo and the Université des Sciences Sociales in Toulouse, France. She also holds various courses and certifications in work and organizational psychology.




Day Øyvind Engen Nielsen


Dag Øyvind works at HiPOTENTIAL as an associate senior consultant and psychometrician.

Dag Øyvind helps HiPotential, among others, in its work as a sales representative for Summit of Hogan's Assessment Systems.

Experience

Dag Øyvind is a psychologist and has 24 years of experience as an occupational psychologist for companies, as well as a clinical psychologist. He provides services within leadership development, team development, coaching and recruitment, and is one of Norway's leading psychometricians. He was involved in developing DNV's standard for test certification and has led several standardizations of both occupational psychology and clinical tools.

He holds a position at NTNU where he lectures in psychological testing methodology, particularly with a focus on integrity testing and negative recruitment.

He has written 5 books on topics such as The Connection Between Competence and Progress, Recruitment, Personality and Intelligence, and Psychopathy. His latest book, The Psychopath Test, has received very good reviews in Norway and is being translated into English by the American publisher Skyhorse.

Among Dag Øyvind's clients are the Norwegian Police College, Volvat Medical Center, the Norwegian Bar Association, Bergen Municipality, Oslo Municipality and the Norwegian Criminal Investigation Service.

Cecilie Foss-Sausjord


Cecilie works at HiPOTENTIAL as an associate senior consultant.

She works on varied tasks within the development of leaders and teams, with a special focus on Psychological Safety.


Experience

Cecilie is an experienced organizational developer with many years of expertise in leadership development, innovation, team development and business development. From 2019-2022, she led BI Norwegian School of Management's Department of Entrepreneurship and Leadership and their focus on tailored leadership and competency programs for both the business and public sectors. She is known for demonstrating great flexibility and creativity in ensuring optimal solutions for the client. With her unique combination of background in leadership development, team development, economics and business, she is very good at seeing how to create financial results and goal achievement by focusing on the development of leaders and teams.


Cecilie provides services within leadership development and team development with a special focus on psychological safety, coaching of leaders and teams. Cecilie is very, very good at organizing and putting together holistic development initiatives that ensure good learning and development for both the individual, the team and the organization. She connects the company's goals and values to the individual's learning needs and development.


Psychological safety and The Fearless Organization Scan

Cecilie is certified in The Fearless Organization Scan. An international and research-based process and instrument that measures and develops psychological safety in teams. Cecilie has assisted a wide range of clients in this important area, such as senior management teams in Kongsberg Maritim, Kongsberg Gruppen and assisted Agile product teams at Ruter.


She has also been a guest lecturer at BI's Master of Organizational Psychology on the topic "Effective teams" and taught students how to increase psychological safety in teams. She has delivered webinars for large global companies and holds lectures and workshops on the topic.


Education

Cecilie holds a Master of International Business from the University of Sydney, Australia, a Diploma in Economics from BI Norwegian School of Management and has recently completed a one-year Executive Master's course in management, also at BI. In addition, she has completed numerous courses within business and development processes.

Collaborator at Hogan Assessment System

Summit is a large Danish consulting company that provides services within leadership development and is a distributor of the renowned Hogan Assessment in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and the Benelux countries. Summit is mostly staffed by psychologists who have a strong focus on quality. In Denmark, Hogan is very widespread, with 50% of the larger companies using the tests for selection and development.


HiPOTENTIAL is a reseller of the Hogan Assessment System through Summit and sells the Hogan tests in close collaboration with them. Managing Director Margrethe Hillesland facilitates certification courses in Norway together with Summit.

iStyrelsen is a competence environment with solid experience and expertise in corporate governance, including good board work, where they offer a wide range of training and advisory services with the aim of contributing to value-creating board work.


HiPotential CEO Margrethe Hillesland is one of the facilitators at iStyrelsen's Board Performance Program. Margrethe facilitates a day of insight into how participants' personalities affect their collaboration and contribution on the Board, and follows up with coaching.

Partner on selection and development assignments

A`HEAD provides services within executive search and leadership development. They help clients with search / recruitment, personality assessments, leadership and team development, sparring and coaching. A`HEAD has senior consultants with extensive experience in both Stavanger and Bergen, and is a member of IMSA. With the help of IMSA members in other countries, A`HEAD can solve recruitment assignments in large parts of the world.
