Tests to identify the best career path for you

We particularly recommend measuring your motivation and preferences - What do you like best? What drives you? What brings out the glow and energy in you? Hogan's Motivation, Value and Preference Indicator (MVPI) is very good at measuring this and has a separate report specifically aimed at career fit. Likewise is Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) very good, it also has its own career report. Both of these tests will be able to give you valuable information about which role, working environment, structure, framework, working style and communication style you will be most comfortable with.

In addition, we recommend testing with one five-factor personality test (Big 5 ). These are more behaviourally based, and measure how others will most often experience us on a daily basis. Both Hogan's HPI and 16pf have developed good career reports especially for this purpose. Otherwise, too NEO PI 3, MAP and OPQ 32 good Big-5 tests. All are DNV approved.

If you want to get an indication of your problem-solving and reasoning capacity, we recommend that you be measured on this. Something that is useful information in relation to whether you are best suited to working with analytical work vs more practical work, and will also be able to indicate which level in the organization it may be most appropriate for you to work at. We recommend one of the world's most used event tests: Raven Progressive Matrices .
If you want to go even deeper into your personality, we recommend a test that measures behavior under stress and pressure - then the darker sides of your personality often come to the fore.

These are personality traits that can be what destroys you in your work. There may be forces that are used too much and too extreme (estimation). The only test on the corporate market today that measures this specifically is the unique one Hogan's Descriptive scales (HDS ) . This DNV approved the test will be able to give you further indication of what can destroy you in your career. Depending on your personality, there will be some professions and work environments that will seem more stressful to you than others. You will more often experience discomfort and being outside your comfort zone. The information from the HDS test will be useful in trying to steer clear of these occupations, but the information will also be useful for you in learning more about your areas of development that you can work on to become more aware of and improve on.
