Management Due Diligence
We analyze and map the strengths and areas of development for each individual team member, the team's dynamics and we help you to identify and uncover any dangers and risks.
We recommend that you both look forwards and backwards in time. How have the strengths and weaknesses of the team helped and hindered the organization in achieving its goals? What are the differences in the new strategy and what will be different now in relation to what will be required of the team to achieve a successful organization? Does the management team have the capacity, suitability and composition required to achieve the organisation's strategies and objectives?
Our structured assessment process includes:
- Structured behavioral interview with SAR technique with each individual manager
- Team observation of a real meeting or event to study team dynamics
- Personality testing - we carry out tests of behavior under normal circumstances and under stress/pressure, as well as looking at which role the individual members will most naturally take in a team
- Motivation and value test, what drives you? What do you prefer, do you want?
- We recommend matching the manager's values to the organizational culture and the company's values, see below in the next section
- Testing of general ability level - logical and analytical potential
- 360 degree reference check
- Analysis and report of match to role, team and organisation, as well as strengths and development areas are reported for each manager
- Analysis and report of the team's combined strengths and risk areas, as well as the team members' potential for interaction between themselves
It is important to communicate to the management team clearly from the start what is to be measured and why. It is also important to be clear about how the measurement will take place, when the individual will receive feedback, how the information will be used and who will have access.
